How to open and navigate recorded footage by channel and date using the BitVision Playback screen.
Opening Recorded Footage
To play back recorded footage from a connected device, follow these steps.
Tap the menu button 
in the top-left corner of the screen.
Tap Playback in the side menu.
Tap Local device, then tap the device name, then tap the channel number (CH) you want to review.
The recorded footage for that channel is displayed on the Playback screen.
Playback plays one channel at a time. You can open multiple channels one after another to view additional recordings, but synchronized playback — where multiple channels play in sync — is not supported.
Playback Screen Controls
The Playback screen provides a set of controls for navigating recordings.

| ① | Calendar | Select the date of the recording to display. |
| ② | Recording type | Filter recordings by type — for example, continuous recording or motion-detection recording. |
| ③ | Zoom | Expand or compress the time scale of the timeline. |
| ④ | Timeline | Displays the recording periods for the selected day. Segments with recordings are shown in a different color. |
| ⑤ | Real Time | Return to the live view screen. |
| ⑥ | Play Rate | Change the playback speed. |
| ⑦ | Pause | Pause or resume playback. |
| ⑧ | Close | Hide or show the video for the current channel. |
| ⑨ | All Closed | Hide or show the video for all channels currently open. |
