Motion Alerts & Device Settings

How to view motion-detection alerts in the Message Center, and how to configure device settings such as reboot, alarm frequency, HDD/TF formatting, factory reset, and per-channel motion detection.

Viewing Saved Snapshots and Clips

The Image Management screen stores snapshots and video clips that were captured within the app. This data is saved to your smartphone's storage — not to the recorder's internal HDD.

Tap Picture to see saved snapshots, or Video to see saved clips. Tap any thumbnail to view that file.

Tap the edit mode icon button in the top-right corner to enter edit mode. In edit mode you can select files to share (for example via LINE) or delete them.

These files are captured within the app and are stored on your smartphone, not on the recorder's internal HDD. Accumulating a large number of files will consume your phone's available storage. Delete unnecessary files regularly.

Motion Detection Alerts

When the recorder detects motion, the app sends a push notification alert. This feature works automatically once the following two conditions are met:

  1. Motion detection is enabled on the recorder itself.
  2. The device is registered in the app with administrator-level permissions.

You can review the alert history using the Message Center.

Tap the menu button hamburger menu icon in the top-left corner of the screen.

Tap Message Center in the side menu.

Device Configuration

You can adjust basic recorder and per-channel settings directly from the app. Available settings include: Reboot, Alarm Frequency, HDD/TF Format, Factory Reset, and per-channel Motion Detection.

Settings changes made through the app may not be reflected correctly depending on your network environment, smartphone compatibility, and device specifications. For more reliable configuration, it is recommended to make setting changes directly on the recorder using a mouse.

Tap the menu button hamburger menu icon in the top-left corner.

If no device name appears here, the device has not been registered with administrator-level permissions. Re-register the device using an administrator account.

To configure recorder-level settings, tap the three-dot options icon icon to the right of the device name to open the settings panel.

To configure per-channel settings, tap the device name to expand its channel list, then tap the channel number.

Reboot

Open the recorder's settings panel and tap Reboot. The recorder will restart in approximately 1 minute.

This setting controls how often the app sends push notifications. The recorder itself still performs motion detection at the frequency configured on the device.

HDD / TF Format

Open the recorder's settings panel and tap Local Storage.
