Live View

Understand the BitVision slide menu layout and navigate the real-time live preview interface, including channel selection, multi-window layouts, toolbar buttons, and stream quality settings.

Menu Introduction

The BitVision App menu displays the current App account and avatar, and consists of the following items: main interface, Username, Device manage, Gallery, Event message, Cloud Device, Demo, SN login, Setting, and Logout. Slide open the menu from the left edge of the screen to reveal the sidebar, as shown below.

Tap the gray area to the right of the sliding menu bar to return to the main interface.

Main Interface

The main interface consists of three tabs: Real time, Playback, and VR, as well as Device manage.

Real Time (Live Preview)

The real-time live view screen is shown below.

Opening a Live Feed

Tap the gray area to the right of the sliding menu bar to enter the main interface, then tap Real time in the top toolbar.

Tap the add device icon in an empty play window to open the device list.

Select the device or channel to preview, then tap Done. The preview interface plays the live video of the selected device.

When selecting a device in the device list, tapping on a device group selects all channels under that group at once.

Multi-Window Layout

Switch the number of preview windows using the layout buttons at the bottom of the interface:

1-window layout button 1-window   4-window layout button 4-window   9-window layout button 9-window   16-window layout button 16-window

The four preview modes are shown below:

When previewing video on multiple split screens, double-tap any channel to switch that channel to a single-screen preview.

Full-Screen (Landscape) Preview

Rotate your phone to landscape orientation to enter full-screen preview mode. All split-screen modes are available in landscape as well.

Bottom Toolbar

Slide the bottom toolbar left or right to access all available controls. The table below describes each button.

device manageTap to enter the Device manage interface.
add deviceTap to enter the Device manage interface (add device shortcut).
start recording / stop recordingStart / Stop recording video.
snapshotTake a snapshot (screenshot).
PTZ controlPTZ — when previewing a PTZ camera on a single screen, tap to open the PTZ control panel. Supports pan/tilt direction, zoom, and gesture operations.
close channel / reconnect channelClose / Reconnect the current channel.
close all channels / reconnect all channelsClose / Reconnect all channels.
intercomIntercom — press and hold so the device can hear the phone's microphone; release to hear the device's audio. Enables two-way intercom between the App and the device.
sound on / sound offSound on/off.
favorite / unfavoriteFavorite / Unfavorite the device. Favorited devices appear in the My favorites group under Device manage for quick access.
gallery1) Temporarily store the current interface video and screenshots; select screenshots or videos to enter the Gallery interface to quickly view them. 2) Click on a screenshot or video and slide up or down to delete it directly.
1-window inactive / 1-window active1-window preview.
4-window inactive / 4-window active4-window preview.
9-window inactive / 9-window active9-window preview.
16-window inactive / 16-window active16-window preview.
Fluent / BD / HDStream quality switch — tap to cycle between Fluent, BD (balanced definition), and HD (high definition).
