Event Messages
How to view alarm push notifications, browse the event message list by device and date, open alarm details with snapshots, and delete event messages in BitVision.
The event message feature lets you view the alarm messages pushed by the device and see the alarm event details, including snapshot images captured at the time of the alarm.
Check the Event Message
Tap Event message in the sliding menu bar.

Select the alarm device you want to check. The Event message list shows each device with its alarm type and date.

On the Detection alarm screen, tap the < or > arrows to select the date, then tap an event image to view it.

Tap an event entry to view the alarm detail. The Alarm switch detail screen shows the device name, S/N, date, and alarm type, along with the alarm snapshot.

Tap the snapshot to view the full alarm picture.

- The event message is saved for 7 days, which is subject to the actual prompt.
- New alarm information will be reminded in the top status bar.
- When the Event message setting is on, the mobile phone pushes the reminder when receiving the event message; when it is off, the phone does not push the reminder.
- When viewing the alarm picture, the electronically magnified picture can be separated and merged with the thumb and forefinger (pinch-to-zoom).
- When viewing the alarm picture, long press the picture and the Save to Phone button will pop up; tap it to save the picture to the phone album.
Delete the Entire Contents of an Event Message
Tap Event message in the sliding menu bar and select the alarm device.
On the Detection alarm screen, tap Edit in the top right corner.

Tap Select all to select all entries, then tap Delete in the bottom right corner.

Delete Selected Event Messages
Tap Event message in the sliding menu bar and select the alarm device.
On the Detection alarm screen, tap Edit in the top right corner.
Tap the individual event entries you want to delete to select them (a red check mark appears on selected items).

Tap Delete in the bottom right corner to delete the selected entries.
